NTU LIS Faculty Research Forum and Graduate Student Research Forum are held every semester with the aim of fostering discussions among faculty and students. In Spring 2015, the faculty research forum was held on May 29th. Research presented in this forum included:

● Information Seeking Behavior of Children in Virtual Space Interface of a Digital Library by Dr. Ko-Chiu Wu
● Exploring alternative metrics of scholarly performance in the social sciences and humanities in Taiwan by Dr. Muh-Chyun Tang
● Altmetrics—International and Localization by Dr. Kuang-hua Chen
● A Functional Analysis on Emotional Healing of Movies for Undergraduate Students Facing Career Decisions by Dr. Chen Su-may Sheih

The graduate students research forum was held on May 22nd. Research presented in this forum included:

● Mystery Readers’ Reading Selection and Information Exchange Behavior by Ms. Chiu-yen Wu
● Establishing and Validating a Diversity and Openness Scale on Movie Preferences by Ms. Mei-Mei Chang
● Effectiveness Assessment of Music Social Software Recommendation Tools by Mr. Mang-yuan Yang
